Did you put Christmas decorations up yet?

Do you decorate indoors and outdoors? Do you put up a real tree? Do you like tinsel? Do you have something very special that you have kept for years?

Tell us your traditions and if you know how to post pics, please do! :)

    Pente.. I'm rolling here.

I have 3 decorations.. a small (about 4ish inches tall) tree that lights.. an ornament that's Mary/Joseph&Baby Jesus .. another ornament that's Mary/Joseph&BabyJesus that are up all year.

The one ornament sits next to the wee tree and the other one hangs in my kitchen.

    that's it.

I have a (lighted) Wreath on the front door, our mantle is decorated with silver and gold Reindeer and a Nativity Set, and there's a silver Heralding-the-Birth Angel centerpiece on the dining table.

Oh, and I have a stake in the ground in the front yard with a flag hanging from it that reads: JESUS is the Reason For The Season

Since it's just the two of us (no kids, or grandbabies), I don't do much Christmas decorating.

We decided on a real tree this year since my husband said it would be worth it not to drag the 2 fake trees out from underneath the stairs. (I'll see about posting a picture for you later Krys)

It takes me a few days to finish all the decorating. The tree is done...though it doesn't have a topper on it yet. (I used to do an all Victorian tree, but I've gone colored lights and fun decorations, with lots of stuff from when I was a little girl, and various pieces from when the boys were little) Therefore...the topper is a conundrum.

There are Dicken's Village houses (given to me by my Mother) that go downstairs, and lots of doo-dads (I hate doo-dads, so Christmas is the only time I put any out). I'll put up the lights and greenery on the outside stairs sometime this week. Hubbie already put up the candy canes in the yard. I also put up swags on the windows this year.

Haven't started yet. I had a Christmas sale for our ministry in Kenya last Saturday and that one took all my energy plus having dh in the hospital also takes quite some time and energy. I'll try to get started today, put up a Christmas tree with lights on the porch and some lights in the Windows. Also I'll decorate a small Lawson cypress close to the entrance.

I decorated my office during Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) because that's when the Messiah was born.

So far the outdoor white lighted nativity figures have been put up near a very tall arborvitae that's been decorated with multi colored Christmas lights.

A large lighted Christmas wreath has been put up on the living room wall and the sofa table holds a nativity set from my childhood next to a 20" Christmas tree decked with mini ornaments and multi colored lights.

I also have a couple of those glass blocks that are stuffed with Christmas lights and then wrapped in bows, a friend gave me one with clear lights and the next year I made my own and filled it with the multi colored lights. They're similar to this:
