Then I looked at the 9 day forecast.. I knew I was home. A little cool at night for the time of the year but still pleasant.

I’m seeing where the Monkees were inspired in their producing the hit single, “Pleasant Valley Sunday”.

I'm pleased to say that after a dreadful Sept and early Oct, we've had enough dry and almost warm weather (low to mid 50s F) the farmers have their crops off, or are almost at the finish line. The only difficulty left is that they had to take it off far to moist which will lead to the grain heating and spoiling in the bins.... So now comes the job of putting it all through grain driers. An expensive and time consuming task, but at least it can be done now, no matter what the weather. Such a relief, but the quality of the grain has degraded and will seriously affect the price they get for it. But again, having something to sell is better than nothing to sell... so praise God, for the break!!!

Cold and windy here today. The “feels like” temp is 29F. And as you can see, we have snow coming again.
