    Does your house have A/C? That's one thing I've enjoyed up North, very few have air because of the cool evening water breezes.

    No but it is a wide open with lots of windows. The 22’ ceiling helps to draw heat upwards.

    Have you seen the pics from Houghton/Hancock area??

    Yep, a bunch of heat advisories here too.


    We've been needing rain since its been so dry the last 2 weeks and finally got a short downpour that lasted about a half hour and it brought along some cooler temps with it.

    Awoke to 40deg temps and 60 in the house. Yup. I turned the heat up this morning. That’s just wrong.

    I just got a small AC unit for the first time ever because temps will again be hovering around 80-85 F for the next week or more. This is supposed to be like Anchorage, not like the Mediterranean !
