A beautiful day in the mid-70s with a chance of the 80scoming up, then back to 'normal' temps.

The last couple days have been beautiful, even broke a record yesterday at 82°. We should reach 80 again today but the 50s come back on Monday.

We hit 86 today, then the "lake breeze" came across the tip of the mitt and now it's 65.

We are in the middle of a heatwave and a drought. Today was another near 90 day with more to come, and still no rain until maybe next week.

Anyone ever here ever hear of the drought monitor?
Current Map | U.S. Drought Monitor
Looks like up here in the Pacific Northwest we are heading into a very Dry July, August, and September.
With all the rain we get (9 months worth) it will be nice to have a solid three months of sunshine, even if it does get a little too hot, no 'biggie" for me. I'm officially and finally retired. I'd much rather spend more time swimming down at silver lake with my chocolate Labrador than working in the hot sun Like I did last summer. The nearby lake is about 3 miles from my house.
