Yes, but not as much as, say states like Michigan or Illinois. I'm thankful for that at least. There have been a few times where we had more snow than usual.

My first year here, there was a horrific ice storm. Shut everything down for weeks. Some people didn't have power for weeks. I never lost power. A slight interruption with Internet service, but it didn't last long at all.

I am thinking about home tonight and missing our weather. Listed as the 3rd best climate in the world. This is a pretty typical summer week and can last even through thanksgiving. Winter is very mild averaging low to mid 60s, lows 40s to 50. 300 days of sunshine. No humidity, very few hot days, no ice or snow, very few bugs
