With temperatures in South Florida expected to be near record-breaking lows this weekend, WPBF 25 News meteorologists said there is a chance iguanas could fall from trees.

Friday is expected to have highs in the 80s, but then temperatures will drop. Saturday is expected to be in the 40s and 50s with wind and Sunday temperatures could drop into the 20s, meteorologists said.

I didn't, but Rog did. He retired in March but works part time for a small, independent oil company optimizing production on trouble wells. So he leaves about 7AM and gets home around 10, give or take, depending on what he needs to do. He said it was really awful out there and there will be many drifted in east-west roads because of the crazy north wind. But it ain't his first rodeo. 45 years in the patch, he's gone through it all.
