We're almost always in a drought.. it's not serious right now, but as you know, once the dry season starts snd the rain stops, it may not rain for 6-8 months. Sunshine every day.

We usually get some coastal fog in the morning, but it burns off pretty fast.

We could definitely use some more down pours but we are running out of time. It's another excuse for the environmentalist to put us on water restrictions.

San Diego is using ocean water now (de-salting). I'm hoping that will happen everywhere.

I'm surprised at the lack of this being the normal response up the coast. Why isn't there more desalinization centers?

That's a great question. It's my understanding only San Diego has desalinization at this point. There's 27 million people in all of Southern California. L.A. needs it really bad. The water there is just nasty. I don't even like to take a shower in it. So much chlorine.

San Francisco metro has 8.7 million people, but we do get a little more rain the SoCal and we get snow run off from the Sierra Nevada mountains.

I wonder if the environmentalist have put up a fuss. They never fight for the people. It's always for nature. They give the farmers hell. They want to do away with all the reservoirs which would be a total disaster. They are a big thorn. Our gas is $4 a gallon because of environmental taxes.

Now I need to go pray and get the victory

Cooling off over the weekend to a pleasant 70 up here (NorCal). Palm desert will be 100.

Where does California stand with mask laws, do they have to wear them at the beach?

A little more laid back at the beach. It's a relaxed atmosphere. People seem a little ready to get out and enjoy life again.

We've moved to orange tier which means less restrictions. Our Governor is trying to play nice now lol
