After a nice sunny day in the 40s yesterday it's been overcast all day today and now down into the teens with snow flurries.

Calm week, temps in the 20's and in the next few weeks will be patterned in the 30's. It's been a great winter unless you make a living plowing. Trends are showing an early spring.
10deg last night. Still only 15 but sunny and gorgeous.
Glad the furnace is fixed, its 17 now and still going lower for tonight.

I've noticed the last couple days the drop in the temps slowed down the feral cat traffic for my feed call in the morning usually around when it starts to get daylight. Normally I count around 30 everyday, only about 5 or so these last few days. Even my call of "Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty! Didn't motivate them.
When all the flowers and gardens ended after the frost and all. My daughter let her 4 ducks out of their pen so they could room about the area. I call em Jo's Quacker Gang. They always show up a bit after I feed the strays to chase off the cats and get something to eat. They been on delay from their normal round about routine as well. Yeah been colder than a well digger's nose last couple days for sure.
I'm grateful for not having the usual 2 weeks of subzero weather this winter. Low 20's, no snow.

Subzero across the area. We had 8deg. Sure glad we don't live up at Larks Lake like a few years ago when we had back to back -40.
