currently 100 miserable degrees. I'll be glad when this is over with.

At least it's dry desert type heat. Suppose to lift tomorrow.

Hot spell for a day. Today 91, but by Friday our highs will again be in the 50s. Pure Michigan. This is good training for our upcoming camping trip to the upper peninsula.

    Raining atm.

Two fronts colliding, Cristobel rolling in up here. High winds, 75deg all night and this morning, 20deg higher than usual. Within 48hrs temps will be 35deg colder. So yeah, the 50-60mph winds are expected.

Its been in the 90s for a few days but no rain and we need it. Storms predicted for this afternoon with possible hurricane force winds down state.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect through 8PM for all of southeast Michigan. However, the storms we're expecting may have gusts over 70 mph, reaching hurricane force. With winds this destructive, you should be indoors, away from windows and on the lowest floor of your home. Treat these storms as if each were a tornado.

Damaging winds will be the most likely and most widespread threat, but large hail and a tornado is also possible.

A summer with long strings of 90's is overrated.
