Thread: Nikos got banned

There was an incident early this afternoon and John did it...well, he was indirectly responsible for it. I was trying to fix something in the controls under John's step by step instructions and apparently I knocked out a chunk of the forum that Nikos of all people just happened to be in at the time.

He kept getting a notice saying that he did not have permission to post and that the administrator may have disabled his account. The odd part was that Nikos never said a word about it! LOL..guess the poor guy was used to being banned.

On a fluke we noticed what had happened a little while later and John finally figured out how to fix it. But as I said it was John's fault for not keeping his eyes on what I was doing. So I'd like to ask you all that if you notice something, anything, that has changed for the worse or is not working any longer, let us know as soon as you can. ;)

He was the first one banned, I'd probably feel persecuted if it were me! I don't think his feelings are as delicate as mine, so he should be ok.

I remember when I changed my logon name (removed "the") and then a few days later the computer somehow removed the password from autofill and I had to type everything in again. I forgot the recent change and used my old logon name and the page returned something like "user unknown" which left me with a sinking feeling of having been banned for some reason, until I figured it out. It's not that much fun.

Yeah, sometimes if I'm in the arcade too long and try to come back to the forum, I find I got logged off.
