    Recovering From COVID-19

    Good afternoon Living Faith.

I haven't been on in a while. But, this has recently been because of health reasons. On 6/29, I was infected with COVID-19 because my job at the school district did not supply me with proper PPE when I went to disinfect a COVID positive school, and have been in quarantine at home, today being the final day. To say I was sick as a dog would be a vast understatement. I was so sick I thought I was going to die. Last Saturday, I had my Mom call an ambulance because I thought I was dying, and when the servicemen came in, they treated me like a dog, chewed me and my Mom out, and told me not to call them unless I was dying. So, I fought on, and today, happily, is my last day of quarantine. I am so thankful to God for bringing me through this. It has changed me, however.

Through this time, even though he knew I was sick, my pastor did not reach out to me in any way. He always thought this was a hoax, and when I was in need of my church family, the leaders abandoned me. Now, I am asking God to lead me to a new church home. If you cannot pray for me, love me, in my darkness, I'll not save a seat for you in my light. This may be harsh, but they not one time reached out to me, and I was on leadership, as well as was a supporter even as our current membership is only about 30. I was saddened, but am seeking God for direction.

Love to one and all. Grace and Shalom.

Grace, Shalom, and Maranatha in Jesus name.

The pastor of Hillsong NY, Carl Lentz, got Covid-19 a few months ago. He's early 40s and felt very sick for a long time before recovering but his condition wasn't dangerous.

Sorry to hear you've been so sick and treated so badly. My goodness, what this world has come to, especially our church families and so-called health care providers. While I believe the "fear mongering pandemic" part was vastly overdone, I believe the virus is real and can be deadly to people with other conditions who don't get the right treatment (ie hydroxychloroquine + zinc + antibiotics).

May the Lord continue to heal you and restore you and lead you and your mother to a new church family to worship with. God bless you, brother.

I'm glad you made it through. The Covid bug is a nasty one. Did your church leaders know you were sick?

Sorry to hear about you getting Covid ...PTL you have recovered. Disappointed to hear your pastor didn't support you through the illness. God lead you to the appropriate fellowship that will be a major blessing in your life

I am glad to hear that you are recovering and will pray for you!

I'm sorry you have had emotional suffering as well as physical. I understand the pastor situation as something similar happened when my mom was terminally ill at home.
