    Should you wear a mask?

Should you wear a face mask to protect against coronavirus?

But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it "does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19."

I just shelled out $50 for a box of 50 disposable masks, which, even at that absurd price,
    were selling light hotcakes.

We won't be admitted to grocery stores or doctors offices (those who still see patients)
    unless we're wearing a mask, so I don't really have a choice.

The mask protects others from you.

That whole nonsense about "masks not being effective" was hogwash.

"normal" masks do not protect you from Corona virus, sorry that is true at not at all hogwash
but they limit a bit of what you could spread towards others

The biggest effect is probably that you are reminded to stay in a distance.

I see so many mistakes of people wearing masks,
like the do not fit, they do not cover well, they are taken off and put on again (moved up and down), and what happens a lot and is usually not noticed, they are touched.
It is important to cough and sneeze into your elbow, everything else, also masks, are contraproductive.

Health care people didn't want the general public consuming all the masks so they made up the "not effective" thing. It ain't rocket science, masks prevent particles from going the distance. I can't believe how they think we are that stupid.

Sorry John, maybe you should get to understand more about masks.
It is easy to blame health care people.
There are different masks with different qualities
and I understand that people think, a mask is a mask, no matter how you handle it.
It is the same with gloves.

Lets take South Korea for example. It may seem like the are doing good because of the masks,
but what really is the big difference is their testing and tracking and exposing on cellphones. In no way you could do this kind of controlling in Europe or USA,
but it seems to be a effective way to prevent the spreading of Covid-19

No mask is perfect, we also know that, but any mask is better than no mask. You seem to have adopted med-speak, speaking to us like we are fools.

and yes, any mask is better then no mask, but even then it does not prevent from getting the coronavirus
6 foot distance and coughing and sneezing in the elbow do a better work
