Thread: Do you take naps and can you fall asleep anywhere?

  1. #21
Unfortunately, I've never been able to take a nap during the day, even when I'm tired. Can't seem to turn my mind off.

Wish I could be more like this:

I envy people who can take a nap during the day - It has to be dark (pitch black actually) for me to be able to sleep.

I definitely CANNOT sleep while riding in a car, train or plane, and I can't just "fall asleep any time and any where" - I like to be fully alert and aware of my surroundings at all times (probably has something to do with my control issues)

I have to say....if I want to continue sleeping, then it has to be pitch black. If someone leaves a light on in the house, you can guarantee I'll be up in the middle of the night turning it off. If my husband turns on his phone in the middle of the night, that wakes me up too.

I've slept through earthquakes.. some that moved the bed.

I can go to sleep with the lights on, easy peasy.

Now that is walking in some faith!

Kinda like when the storm was blowing the boat all around, and Jesus was in the back taking a nap

Its rare to have an earthquake in Michigan and if it happens they're mild but we do have some doozy thunderstorms that I usually wind up sleeping right thru. Its weird because small noises like the dog plopping down by my door can wake me but a raging storm usually won't disturb me.

I know what you mean.. same thing for me.

A small, out of place, noise can wake me.. but the usual hubub .. no.

I put the tv on to go to sleep.. and music too.. it's kind of a nature/music thing.
