We just sent our little goldendoodle out to get a cut. It was looking like a little tumbleweed with paws.

I went in for a haircut this week and now you have to give your name and phone number and they record the day and time you were in just in case someone tests positive for covid-19 so they can round up everyone who was there that day.

Just curious, is that happening for others or is it just a governor Whitmer Michigan thing?

I've been trimming, coloring, and blow drying my hair since the "Shutdown" - I'm not comfortable going to the salon where I previously got my hair done...

Too much smoke, etc. from the blow dryers whirling around the place - Although I feel bad for my Stylist, I'm not taking any chances - It's a small shop, and the ventilation isn't that great.

My hairdresser didn't do the time thing but her appointment book has the dates anyway. I went to training in a club and they did the time in time out thing.

We record names and contact numbers at funerals. The guys at the cemetery also get a copy of this list, I guess in case someone from another burial has an issue.

I had to sign in and out at the "old people's home" today as I wanted to clean out MIL's room. When I went there Sunday in an official capacity to transfer her body to the morgue I didn't. Strange. Or maybe the virus takes the weekend off like it doesn't go to protests?

I cut my own hair, so can't say what the policy is in New Jersey, but I've read that the same protocol is being followed here and in other countries.

I know it harms one sense of privacy to have a record kept of everywhere you go and whatever you do, and I don't like it, but it seems to me to be another "necessary evil" to be tolerated until this Covid-19 nemesis is brought under control.
