I'm an early bird. Which is what makes this stupid daylight savings time "fall back" change the worst! Anyway, so I could easily be up by 4 or 5 a.m., but now that I'm retired I tend to lay in bed longer. However, I frequently go to bed at 8 p.m. It's nearly impossible for me to stay awake past 9 p.m. I've taken herbal "stay awake" and "energy" supplements, etc. for times when I have night time activities, but nothing seems to help. Even if I take an afternoon nap, my eyes just want to close by 9 o'clock. It's quite embarassing and I really do wish It wasn't such an extreme thing with me.

I'm like Peace...pretty balanced. I usually fall asleep around 10 (notice I said fall asleep...not go to bed...I'll fall asleep pretty much anywhere...couch, car...wherever) and get up between 6:30 and 7.

To bed around 11 p.m. , up around 7.30 a.m. One thing I like about getting up at that time is that I often meet my very good friend, the Super Night Owl Krys, for an early morning chat before she calls it a day :)
That's right! Its much easier for night owls and early birds to hook up if there's a big pond between them.

Wow Cats, it doesn't happen very often but there have been times that I go to bed at that time! :)

Me too. My husband gets up for work @5:20am and he's asked me to be more quiet getting ready for bed if it's that late/early!

I'm retired now too (PTL), and my body clock still wakes me up around 7:00 AM every day (even on weekends)...
It's hard for me to keep my eyes open after 11:00 PM.
When I was working, I went to bed between 9 - 10, but I tossed and turned all night - Now, I sleep straight thru the night and wake up pretty refreshed and ready to tackle the day.
Mind you, it still takes me a while to become fully energized - Gotta have that mug of coffee before I'm fun to be around in the mornings.
