    Haven't been around much

Actually I am not sure when I was last here. My apologies.

I have been adjusting to having an empty nest. And letting my children be adults and live their lives. I have backed off from internet use, and am still trying to find a good rhythm and just have a balanced life. I am the type of person that enjoys doing for my kids and family. I actually thrive in those situations, so it's a bit of an adjustment right now. And of course, I have a high energy 2 year old dog, that really needs exercise and human involvement. And she can escape my yard, and hop over my 6' high chain link fence. She currently is kenneled while I am at work. So I have to deal with some challenges with her. I am considering getting a dog run for her. But need funds and shade for her. Working out the "kinks" so to speak.

I still love to make quilts, but haven't done much of that this year. I have been cutting back on those expenses, as it's a very costly hobby. I have made a few panel wall hangings. But all that material was from my stash that I have. Mostly I enjoy looking at what others have created. I posted a few on my facebook page as I drove 2 hours away to a quilt festival. Those were really beautiful quilts.

I know that some of your lives have taken some drastic changes. Nikkos, Lionheart, I am so very sorry for your loss. Truly my heart goes out to you both. May our Father comfort you both during these holidays, and provide you both with peace during your grief and healing. I will keep you both in my prayers. Small words, I know, and I know our God is with you both, even when you *think* He isn't. His promises haven't changed. His mercies are new every morning, and His heart is open to you both as your pour out your hearts to Him. His arms will surround you!

have a great weekend all. I will try to come by more often.

I think I need to join this post and for the same reason. Different excuses though. I have just done my most fun tour of the year and my worst tour of the year; one after the other. The most fun one included Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty and the worst one was a group had the worst bus driver I've worked with in a long time. He was rude, disrespectful, lazy, greedy and possibly a thief. Oh, and he wasn't a very good driver either. The stress levels were very high and I am very tired but beginning to recover. I need a couple days of low stress.
The best tour of the year had 175 pilgrims and included several celebrities. It turns out that Willie is a good speaker and just seemed to be a nice guy. Zach Williams is a great singer but I didn't get to talk to him much. Todd Starnes was warm, friendly smart and fun. There was a whole bus load of VIPS and I had the 5 star bus. Nevertheless, as much fun as it was, I was fairly tired at the end and didn't have much of a break before the next one that was very high stress.
I need another fun bunch before I retire. When is the LFF tour?
