Praying in agreement for you. God has more ahead for you. Just to paraphrase a scripture- to make it personal:
Zech 4:7 "Who art thou O great mountain, before Zerubbabel (before Catchy)) thou shalt become a plain..."

wow! Thank you for trusting us with your information.
I'm happy for you to have been brought so close to God through this. It's got to be difficult. When we learned about Duane's the dr told us that everyone we would talk to would be an expert on cancer but usually didn't know much of anything. I'm even more happy you've been able to negotiate those waters well.
I'll be looking for updates, but won't bug you every 3 minutes. Just know I will be remembering you to our Lord.

Thanks Femme! I knew a lot going in, which is why I didn't go conventional, but clearly I know so much more now. I did NOT know about chemo not killing cancer stem cells or that radiation made cancer cells 30 times more malignant at the very beginning but I certainly know now. I've also met so many people struggling with the horrific damage done by chemo and radiation. It's shocking. But I'm good and will update you. Please sign up for the documentary! It is riveting!

I'm not too thin. I did find out that they have changed clothing sizes. I'm a size 4 at 128 lbs. A size 4 back in the day was me at 114. Go figure. I'm not too thin, and I'm really not deprived, at all. I eat chocolate cookies, even....you just do stuff differently and use a food dehydrator instead of an oven. I even just made some "ranch dressing" with raw sunflower seeds (and other ingredients of course). You'd be surprised what the vegans have come up with.
I went on a very strict alkaline diet about 2 years ago, mostly because of GERD. I even had some small ulcers forming. It took care of that, but also gave me increased energy and relieved me from most of the migraines i used to get. I also dropped about 15 pounds in 6 months without even trying. I don't adhere to it like I used too, but try to some.

I've heard people talk about alkaline diets but never looked into it. Could you guys maybe start a thread on it and talk about what kinds of foods are alkaline and what the health benefits are?
