    Nope.

Some people's spirituality is so weak that a carved pumpkin might make them lose out with God.

I have to say that a few times at night I thought some folk had started to put up Christmas lights because from afar some look like red and green, not a true orange...and when did purple lights start being associated with Halloween? Seeing a lot of that color too.

A lot of Halloween cross stitch designs use a medium purple with a pukey green color. Then they accent with black and orange.

purple and gunk green have always been incorporated with the orange.

    Where have you been, Girl?!

I can't bring myself to participate in Halloween at all. The past couple of years we've gone over to a friend's house and made smores....just something to get the kids out of the house. That said, no I don't decorate for Halloween, but I do change the seasonal wreath on my front door to an Autumn colored wreath.

I hate Halloween...we don't celebrate it here but the Stores now advertise it to make money and attract kids

We've always been big on Halloween..

But, it's tone has changed HUGE since we were young.

I'm glad our family and friends choose to keep it the way it was for us.

I do not like the creepy, scary, uber freaky stuff AT all.

But, I love the funny bats, and the silly skeletons, and the kids dressed in fun costumes. I'll even entertain a spider, if he's got a lot of personality.

I like Carl Barks' disney cartoon version. It's quite innocent.

It's become the second largest holiday, second only to Christmas.. but it's coming close.
