Going to my parents with my kids and all but 1 grandkid along with my brothers family. One sister going to her inlaws and other has to stay in Tennessee . I have come to treasure these times we have with my parents, I'm 57 and most of my friends have at least one parent who has passed. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I hate to be a "Debbie Downer," but it's just gonna be me and Hubby...

We don't have kids, our Moms are both in Heaven, and the rest of our family members don't want us around, because we don't cuss, drink and party with them...

Soooo, we have our own little meal, and then kick back and watch the Cowboys and Redskins duke it out on the football field.

    Ditto for Christmas...

Same here except we will watch the Lions get beat. Last year we had tickets and watched them lose in a delightful downtown Detroit manner.

One daughter and her husband will be here along with a cousin of my wife's. Also, my MIL and FIL. Plus, best of all, my late best friend's daughter, her husband, and toddler. It will be memorable.

We will have our meal with our daughter and her family if no one is contagious! Sometimes dd's mil comes. Mr Curly will pick up the feast at Cracker Barrel in the morning!
