I'm right and ur always wrong....

ive noticed n the last few months there seems a arrogance and ego plague rising up amongst the brethrens and sisterians in the church. i notice some on face book as well r headed n that direction. this should not b so but the pattern i c begs 2 differ. now i know nobody on here has that problem as there is a difference between disagreeing n love and a attitude of arrogance n the mindset. i have ran n2 it here where i live and it causes me great alarm. just thought i would run this up the flagpole 2 c which way it blows...

Does it even matter if you're right if you turn people off with your arrogance? My grandmother always told me that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. You can't beat people over the head with the truth and have them respond favorably.

yup I have noticed that as well wheeze.
Who cares if you are right if you have alienated and offended the person beyond listening while doing it. The point is to persuade people of a better way. I have never thought that persuading included clubbing over the head.

One of the reasons that I am one of the most polite posters on here is because when I debate I try to be extremely polite. Sometimes others are so bold and don't care what others are feeling like. However, I take that into consideration and am willing to go more than a mile with the other person even though the Bible indicates a mile is enough. I know that many here wonder how I continue to be badgered, such as in the discussions on tithing, yet I keep cool and Christlike. It is the self control that I posses. It is called the fruit of the Spirit.
