    Thanks for the tip, Krys,

I've been shopping at Kroger since I became eligible for their Senior Discount Program.

I download their eCoupons to my loyalty card all the time - However, their Friday Freebies don't normally work for me, since it's usually stuff I don't use or consume.

    Edited to Add:
Between the 10% Sr. Discount, their eCoupons, and the coupons I cut out of the Sunday paper, I save a nice lil chunk of change when I go grocery shopping - PLUS, I get 10 to 40 cents off per gallon of gas when I fill up my tank.

What is this Senior Discount Program about? I'm not familiar with it...what is the age requirement and what kind of products do they offer the discount on?

Ditto on everything else tho Sharon!

There was a time, when they used to double dollar coupons, that I would be a bit bummed if I didn't see a savings of at least 50% on my receipt off of the sale prices.

60 and older receive the Sr. Discount on specified days - In my area, it's Tuesdays.

It's either 5%-10% off taken at the register on your total bill.

Oh, you have to take your Loyalty Card to the Customer Service desk and get them to register it for the Sr. Discount...

... I think I had to show some I.D - Especially since I look so young for my age (ROFL)

I haven't heard of the Senior discount but will check into it. Sounds good to me. I do download coupons and their freebies - don't always use them though. Here, they have 2 or 4 times the points on the purchase of gift cards (not all the time just certain times) and I have used that. I think the next time I will purchase Kroger gift cards and use them myself as I would get the extra loyalty points plus points on my current purchase. Anyway I can save, I do take advantage of it. It helps with the gas too.

Here at the few we go to it's on Wednesdays. When I go in on a Wednesday, they give me the Senior discount and I don't even ask for it. This is very depressing as I think I look younger than they think I do.
