Well no wonder I hadn't heard of it before, I called and they don't do those discounts in lower Michigan yet.

    Bummer!

I'd email the Corporate HQ and ask them why no Sr. Discount in Michigan?

Publix does Sr discounts in Atlanta, so my wife's MIL went to Plublix in Venice FL but they didn't give a discount. She asked why and the person basically said, "This is FLORIDA. If we gave Sr discounts we would be giving everybody that came into the store one."

    Today's freebie:

I don't have a cat but I clicked on the free e-coupon, my dog doesn't mind an occasional cat treat.

I noticed this one in my inbox when I logged on this morning - Loaded it to my card - It expires on my Birthday (Nov. 8th), so I have a couple of weeks to "treat myself" to this Freebie.

My son works at Harris Teeter, and they have Senior Day as well. (I think it's Wednesdays) He says that if a customer says they get the senior discount he's not supposed to question the person...just give them the discount. He says he'll occasionally ask people if they would like the Senior Discount if they don't ask for it....but he's VERY careful. kinda like asking a woman if she's pregnant.

Did you get it yet? I couldn't find them in the regular Oreo section but as I was headed to the checkout they had their own free standing display bulging with every variety of the new thin Oreos. They're normally $2.99 and I was tempted to choose the mint but I went the regular, I'll probably try them this weekend.

Yep, I popped in on Friday (yesterday) to get some Salmon and I grabbed my FREEBIE - I got the regular ones too - I was tempted to try the Vanilla ones, but I went with the "originals"
