Just curious..how many gallons of gas does that plane hold and how much is the gas per gallon for it? Might as well tell me how many miles per gallon you get too.

This 172 holds 50 gallons (I think most hold 40). Burns about 8 gallons an hour at the power setting I use. At my airport it is I think $4.10 a gallon. I just pay a flat rate per hour 'wet', which means my rate includes gas.
Just for calculation purposes, lets say the plane averages about 100 knots per hour (115 MPH), and you are burning 8 gallons an hour. So that would be 115 miles divided by 8, which is 12.5 miles per gallon. I think I figured that out the right way.

That's not bad, I actually thought it would be a lot more expensive than that.
