OK...so what do you all hear?




Its all over facebook and no matter what site its posted from I keep hearing: "yarry"

It's both words overlayed on top of each other in a technically clever way. It's created to confuse.

I only heard Yarry on every other recording. Your recording is the very first time that I heard Laurel.

Monkster posted one on his facebook page that would change based on which word you were thinking. That was really interesting.

Actually from what I’ve read it isn’t. This is a word that a person found in a dictionary definition audio. The word actually is laurel, a wreath you put on someone’s head. That was the word that they were looking up.

I clearly hear Laurel.

If we number the intervals going from left to right from 0 through 10 then my personal midpoint seems to be at 7 where I can hear both about equally. It may depend somewhat on the quality of one's speakers though. Try it on a pc or tablet rather than on a phone.

My wife heard another word close to it too, but not yanny. When I did the slider thing Colonel posted I hear something similar but not yanny.
