    Saying hi!

Just wanted to stop in to say hi. Hope all is well. I will try to catch-up on some posts this week, and try to jump in on a few.
I am in a fiery season, but still blessed in so many ways!
I am pastoring a church in WV, and working full-time in western MD.
My son and I just got back from a missions trip (My second, and his first--to Guatemala.) This past week-on my 40th birthday.
    Blessings all!

Really good to see you, Seedsower!

I was in Guatemala in Feb. for vacation... Guatemala--->Belize--->Playa del Carmen MX. 19 days and what a fantastic time. Loved Guatemala! Did a tour of Antigua, then on to Rio Dulce, Florez, toured Tikal... Beautiful country, lovely people.

Would love to hear more about what you do and what happened while you were there.

    Welcome back!

Hi! Doing well, just super busy. We are pastoring again--Maple Grove AG. It is a church located in rural WV. It was "supposed" to be a fill-in situation, became an interim, and now we have been there two years--and still loving it.
Not bad for a guy who thought he would never be in ministry again 4 years ago! Interesting MIRACLE us being there. I am not credentialed AG and the Sup't of the District told us it would be "impossible" for us to pastor there, it went to Springfield, I resigned, but God had planted us there (in a nutshell!).
I continue to work in the mountains of western MD (near beautiful Deep Creek Lake). I work for a non profit pioneering ways to combat rural intergenerational poverty--as a coach to the coordinators working with the families directly.
I launched a coaching business in MD--Ascend Life Coaching, which I have not done much with...yet. I also got my John Maxwell certification, a long-time goal.
We have been primary care-givers for my mom up until about a month or so ago when we finally had to place her in a nursing home.
And we are preparing, within the next two weeks, to move into OUR first home. :)
We also launched Ascend Kingdom Ministries this month for my teaching ministry & for our missions trips. So, we have been plenty busy, but enjoying it for the most part.
Hoping to be more active here.

Oh, and wrote my "baby," my first book, Stepping Stones: A Pathway into His Presence. The foreword was Joan Hunter, a bonus chapter by Mark Virkler, and a rare book on the Manifest Presence, by Walter Beuttler, in the second half. My half was in three sections: 1. Waiting on God, 2. Manifest Presence, and, finally, 3. Hearing (and sharing) God's Voice.

Congrats! Cool about the church and book. Sorry about you mother. We just had to do the same thing after moving in with her to take care of her over 4 years ago. She just turned 90.
