how do you reward yourselves?
I'm done grading papers, and I've caught up here on the forum...now I'm going to reward myself by reading a book.
How do you all "reward" yourselves?

A small Dairy Queen ice cream cone dipped in chocolate and nuts works for me. ;)

Laying in bed, with my feet propped up, with a magazine or book.
Eating a slice of pizza.
If I have a few hours, binge-watching several episodes of a television drama.

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

I don't work for rewards. I had to be released from the feeling of "I don't deserve to do abc, because there are so many things I should be doing". I realize there are some things that have to be done, but if I decide to let something non essential go in order to do something pleasant or eat something special, I am free to do so.

Usually with something to eat - No surprise there, right?
Either some Haagen-Dazs or some type of Pastry (pie, cake, cookie).

I could in no way just let things totally go, however I can pick and choose because we are retired and our dd has a family of her own. I hope I didn't sound snarky about not working for rewards, I know you guys are referring speaking more about getting some time after being busy.
The drawback of being nice to myself whenever I want is to not become habitually self indulgent.
