I wanna know how the bus ride is tho. So many talk about traveling by plane but not many mention travel by bus or train. Is it a comfortable ride? Nice bathroom? TV or movies? Do you stop at quaint little restaurants along the way? Got pics? :)
The show was really good, older crowd for the most part (like 40-50-ish and up) They did songs specifically from their second album (Chicago II)
for the first half then songs from their later albums going into the 80's (before Peter Cetera left) There are just three of the original seven performing now, and the others being added over the last few years. Still, it was a great show.
As far as Greyhound, they have remodeled their fleet, and it's a little more comfortable, of course it's more comfortable when it's not packed and you have the seat next to you empty no pics right now tho.

I've seen them a few times on AXS TV. One was them doing a tour with REO Speedwagon. Then they do some songs together at the end. Really good. The ones I know of that are still original is the trombone player James Pankow, trumpet player Lee Loughnane, and keyboard player and singer Robert Lamm.

But they sound about as good as ever. That horn section is still tight.

They will be touring with REO Speedwagon later this year. Yes, the horns are tight! I've always enjoyed the horns...it was unfortunate that after Terry Kath died, they kinda lost their way a little --David Foster had started working with them and had all but taken away the horns altogether.

Last year there was a documentary about them on CNN, i think they have it on Netflix now. They discuss what transpired with them over the years, dealing with Terry's death and Peter's departure. Really interesting.

    I'll look for that.

Speaking of that, I think it was on AXS TV, I saw a documentary done by Kath's daughter, she was a child when he died, talking to other people and musicians about her dad. Also she was on a quest to find his Fender Telecaster that he played that had all these stickers on it. It had disappeared over the years. I won't tell whether she found it or not in case you ever watch it. :)

Here's an article about the documentary if you're interested.

I guess your throne is going to be closer to Jesus than my little milking stool.
