Turkey breast, cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, creamed potatoes, field peas, corn bread, Gluten free cheese cake,
And whatever my daughter decides to make...
We have a tradition to make those Orange Danish rolls in the morning before turkey goes in the oven. Messy, very, very sweet! But a must have on turkey day.
We always do:
Turkey, potatoes (home made of course) stuffing, green bean casserole (yum), rolls, macaroni salad, pumpkin pie. Gravy (as usual). We do the usual side or appetizers of deviled eggs, ham rolls, salami bites (cream cheese with a hot pepper) vegi tray with home made dip. Olives.
I have tried to add a new tradition of "adding something new". Like I did one year, apple pie bites. Mini cream cheese pies, and this year, mini brownie bites.
Just want to add something new and see what every one likes, and usually they are gobbled up and gone.
next year I want to try making my own cranberry sauce.
Have a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving LFF Family!

I like bacon but that picture makes me want to hurl!
Our dinner came from Cracker Barrel. We had turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, hash browns casserole, rolls, and pumpkin and pecan pies. We had cranberry sauce which was pretty good but I really prefer the jellied cranberries.

I made cranberry sauce from scratch the last couple of years, and I love it, but since it's just the two of us, I popped open a can of the jellied/smooth stuff too
...Totally enjoyed it - Especially since it's what we always had when I was a child.
We eat the jellied stuff the year around. If you like the stuff, it is good with a lot of foods.
I like that dressing. Gooooooooood! Yum!
