Yes, because it's from bees. Vegans don't want any animal products.

Vegans say honey is unacceptable because bees make it.....that is just foolishness

God gave us bees to make honey - John the Baptist ate it

Do you believe that is real compassion as you put it in "quotes"

Well, there is no one more compassionate than God. And there are lots of things God does/allows, and allows us to do such as eat meat, etc. So they think it's a compassion issue, but it isn't. Human thinking.

If animals had been as valuable as human beings then they would have a point. Given the evolution mindset humans and especially mammals (including whales) could be grouped together and plants.viewed as food then misbehaving against other mammals could be seen as a form of racism or ethnic cleansing. It's a godless mindset and I think the point is to pull human beings down to the level of animals then take it from there, not to elevate animals to a higher status.

    That is absolutely right.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

I don't think they are Godless, just misguided.

Well, they think it's compassion. Maybe it is. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. My daughter is not at all self-righteous about being a vegan.

Someone who believes that a god or higher power is involved with the universe tends to believe that human beings are somehow something higher than just an animal.
