Here's some pictures from the Slovak border region. It was a rainy day in Chocholow, the town reminded me of the Maramures region in Romania close to the border to Ukraine that I visited in 2005. Later I found an absolute gem of a church, you'll see.

No. I asked the b&b lady in Wroclaw if she had Polish bacon since Cardinal insisted but all I got was several types of ham. Same as the breakfast buffet at the other two hotels actually.
