Thread: We found a gun

    We found a gun

Our bathroom is being remodeled and today the worker found this:

    We found a gun-photo-jpg

The house was built in 1929, but the gun is more recent than that. The guy who found it (in the wall) says it's a .22 "short."

    Oh my gosh.

I assume you'll take it to police?

It may get be a weapon from a crime.

How long have you been in this house?

12 years. And the house was built in 1929. The gun could be very old. And valuable.

So when it comes to finding guns in walls, it's just finders keepers? Are these original walls you're tearing out?

Good find! It's pretty easy to look those up if you have a manufacturers name, etc...

How cool...now to explore the mystery of the how's and why's it ended up in the bathroom wall!

Found a little info on the type of gun it is:
