Do you wear a wrist watch anymore?
Just something I noticed...not too many wear them anymore.

I do. So many constantly have their phones in hand they can just look there for the time. Since I'm retired I guess the time doesn't matter but I do like to know.

Nope. But I would like to get a nice bulky one.

I like the ornament aspect and the retro thing about the hands instead of digital numbers. I suppose hands are possible on a phone too but the phone is usually in my pocket, the watch is on my wrist.

Haven't worn one since Hubby gave me a cell phone about 10 years ago.

This made me chuckle because I can't not wear one, even though most of my watches batteries died over a year ago. I just wear them to enhance my outfit or for wrist candy.

That's funny because its rare I wear a watch but when I do there's one special one I really like...like you said wrist candy. So, the last time I put it on I noticed the battery had died but wore it anyway.
I have to say that I am surprised at how much jewelry stores charge to put in a new battery but on a fluke I found out that most pawn shops will do it for under half that price.

We put in new batteries at home as Wal Mart no longer does it. They still sell the batteries in their jewelry dept..

If you don't wear a wristwatch why bug people for the time constantly?!! I get this all the time and feel like saying "quit being such a tightwad and go get a watch of your own! I'm not your time-keeper!"
