    Thirty years ago today the stock markets crashed...they called it Black Monday:

    The reason I remember is because it was on the same day as my Dad's funeral. It was also on that weekend that Baby Jessica was trapped in a well for a few days but was finally rescued. Doesn't seem like that much time has gone by already.

    Most of the year I keep some kind of drink in my vehicle...it was frozen solid today.

    Since tomorrow is going to be above freezing and I don't have to be concerned about frozen doors or windows I finally went to the car wash and got all that salt off my vehicle.
