I might be working on Thanksgiving, but if not, I plan to go over a friend's place for dinner.

I picked up a small Turkey Breast, and I have a small Roast in the freezer, so I'll prepare those two meats along with the usual sides and (of course) a Pecan and a Sweet Potato pie.
I usually cook enough so that we graze off of our Thanksgiving meal through the weekend.
Christmas decorations go up on "Black Friday," and I start cranking up the Christmas Carols as well.

Thanksgiving
Do y'all have plans for Thanksgiving?
One of my neighbors showed up the other day with a complete Thanksgiving dinner....so sweet. I'm thinking I'll take it all with me to my Mom's and have Thanksgiving with her.

We spend Thanksgiving with our daughter and family. Usually we order up a meal from Cracker Barrel. Last year dd cooked the meal and it was good although it is such a lot of work.
At Christmas, we are on our own. Last year I cooked a turkey breast in the big crock pot and it was delicious. No trouble at all!

Of course, being Canadian, we had our Thanksgiving over a month ago. I'm waiting for my invitation to one of YOUR houses!
It's a few years ago now that we were in Georgia for a conference and miss lilly had us to their house for Thanksgiving. It was lovely and still a very fond memory.
Walt drove us around to see the scenery.

I had thought about that and was going to ask you when your thanksgiving was.
