Grandson's wedding
Our oldest grandson was married to the love of his life on Saturday. They had an outdoor wedding on a hilltop overlooking their rural area. The fall colors were beautiful.
His dad, our son-in-law performed the ceremony.
Our grandson and his betrothed had no clue what his dad was going to do, but they will never forget it. This is how he opened their ceremony.
It was a very memorable moment for all present!

I guess you had to be there in the moment and to know them and their sense of humor.
It turned into a serious ceremony after that unforgettable opening.

So they showed this scene on screen? I can see that being funny, especially if the dad was the rescuer...

No, the dad, who has always been a nut about quoting/re-enacting movie scenes looked up and performed this speech with great animation. I asked my grandson later if he knew his dad was going to do that, and he didn't. His dad pranked him.
The real ceremony was wonderful and done with great meaning and devotion. They will never forget it, that's for sure!

Did everyone catch on right away? You've got to post the actual video if it makes it to youtube!
