Thread: Things working together - naturally.

    Things working together - naturally.

With the MIL now with us I can see how God has prepared me for it over the last few years. Although she won't admit it there are now limitations in what she can do but seeing that and allowing others to help is hopefully preparing me for old(er) age and handling it gracefully. That will make it easier on everyone. But we should expect things like this, as the Bible says "We know that God caused all things ...". It's nice to know God's looking after us in all ways.

It's honourable what you are doing to help your MIL in her latter years and you and your wife should be commended

Blessings upon you and your wife, Oz. Caring for our elderly loved ones is not easy.

Years ago for one of her high school classes, dd was required to do some volunteer work. She did hers at a nursing home and was really dreading it. By the end of the assignment, she had really learned to care for her senior citizen.

I love what David said, what we once sang, "Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle" Just as God trained David, I believe that God trained me for where I am today and is training me for tomorrow. Awesome.

You know, I tell people what God has done for me and aim to encourage people by showing them that this is what we should all expect from our God.

Thank you, that was way more than what was required. "Live in harmony with one another" (Rom 12:16) Done some editing meself (that should confuse the Admin staff)
