Cool The things you discover about how this site works.

I used to have trouble finding where I was up to in a thread but one day I noticed this:

So I'd select the last page and then follow this link. Then I thought "why not just start at the first page, it's easier" so I did.

But today while mousing around (i.e. moving the mouse around) I discover this which does the same thing:

Well I've only been here a year.

I wonder what else I'm missing out on?

I always go to the "new posts" button. I think we each have our own way of getting around here.

That's what I do. That takes you to the first new post in the thread you haven't read yet.

Even if you use that, you still have to click on the little thing Oz pointed out to go to the first post in the thread you haven't read yet.

I never use the 'new posts' button. I always use the "Quick Links/Today's Posts" post path.

That's what I do too, I first click the 'new posts' tab at the top left of any forum page. But then I click that little icon that Oz showed which appears in front of the titles of threads when a new post is made:

Because when you do that it will take you directly to the first new post that you haven't read yet. Very helpful when a hot topic is pages and pages long. ;)
