Life can be fun.
It's good to know that God knows exactly what's going on (sorry VW you can stop reading now if I understand your beliefs correctly).
After Mum died earlier this year we forced our ill elder brother into hospital so he could get checked on and he was discovered to have cancer through a lot of his bones.
Off to see him again tomorrow and as he's going down hill I've no idea how long I'll be there; as it is I'm going 4 days before I planned to but who knows how long he'll last (well God actually but He's not saying and to be truthfully I haven't asked).
It's a 700k or so trip all round so it is tiring, but the family's seeing more of each other than we've done in years.
And in the end I'll be doing his funeral; I've already done one daughter's father-in-law's funeral this year and attended four four family/ extended family ones.
But I'm better off than my sister whose husband is having operations through this time though my mother-in-law recently fell and broke her pelvis.
So it's good to be the child of a God who knows exactly what's going on and who will use these things to teach me stuff that I'll need in the future and perhaps be able to help people through.

Not sure if I am reading you correctly so apologise in advance but I never saw funerals the way you do in the above comment.

The title is said ironically. I forget I think differently to most people and that people can read things differently to what I wrote.
As the Queen once said, it's been a bit of a annus horribilis for us. Would have been a lot more difficult if we didn't know God.

Unfortunately my brother Kevin passed away last night. As happens he was expectantly taken to hospital and never came home again.

I too, have a brother who has passed away.
I offer my sincere condolences.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

You can forget about unexpected repair costs with an extended service contract for your
Saab. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
