I just ate eggs and some healthy bacon so I'm not sure what you are going on about.

Ok, just add 'organic' as a preface to everything I mentioned. :)

Not to worry, I don't eat much bacon. Those who do should perhaps worry.

Kroger Simple Truth has bacon, thick cut, non cured. I had been buying it but it bugged me it had 2 carbs per slice. Some added sugar or something obviously. Not sure. I went back to Wright regular thick cut that has no carbs. Eating 4 pieces of bacon added 8 carbs to my meal. Not that much per se, but still 8 carbs.
Here is the thing about 'healthy' eating. The first thing a person needs to do to eat healthy is start eating ketogenic. Of course that means get rid of the sugar and so much carbs. Forget whether it's organic or grass fed or whatever. Just start eating the right kinds of foods. I know the food snobs don't like that, but organic is more expensive, harder to find, and some people just don't have that extra money to do it. So just start where you can. Your body will thank you for it. Then if you're so inclined, then begin to add the organic, etc. I try to do organic whenever I can and have a lot of foods that I always buy organic.
I would love to buy grass fed beef but it's too lean, over 90%. I need more fat in my meat. Simple Truth has 80/20 organic, but not grass fed. That's better. I still can't figure out why organic ground beef is so 'wet' though. I hate that. Kroger had a 73/27 I buy because it has more fat, and is 'dry'.
