DNA test over here are "on special" for $149 + postage.
If it was $100 I might think of it. There's Irish and German in my background for sure plus a bit of Scottish. Probably English and rumours of Spanish as well.
No use being disappointed in the results though, if it wasn't what it was I'd not exist.

Cool! We were just talking about it again the other day. My wife doesn't really care. But I would like to do it, and I would like my parents to do it. If you buy more than one they're $89 instead of $99. :)

My husband said his lineage is mostly all from Europe.
37% Great Britain - England and Scotland
17& Ireland
24% Europe West
14% Scandinavia
With less than 1% Africa
less than 1% Asia
and 6% trace regions
Now I want to do it!!

I was adopted so these tests have a real appeal to me. I think I'd do the one that does health factors and ancestry. Maybe for Christmas as a gift, I know this test is $200 but the extra information may be worth it.

Are your parents willing to give you information about your biological parents? Or are you even interested?
I dated a guy in high school that was adopted, and I was always so curious FOR him. but then....I'm very curious by nature.

I'm still toying with it but as a cousin of mine said, it would probably come back as only Eastern European.
Are there different companies that do this? I was checking for online coupons and ran across this one for $79, is this the same test/company you're all talking about it?
