Actually Calvinists are perhaps too logical VW; consider the Westminster Confession of Faith for example, explaining what they believe in over 150 pages with 2000+ Scripture references to support what it says.
My "pentecostal" church once had a 1/2 page "What We Believe" but doesn't even have that on our web site any more, so who knows what we (officially) believe!
For fun did a search and can find "The General Council of the Assemblies of God STATEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS" which is all of 5 pages and from our umbrella church "The doctrinal basis of the Australian Christian Churches (Assemblies of God in Australia)" which is all of 4 pages.

So Colonel you think that you as a sinful, rebellious, God hating, ignorant (of 99.99999.% of what's happened (or will happen) in the world), knowing only what you can remember experiencing, created creature would be better at choosing your eternal destiny than the all knowing, righteous, holy, loving and just God who specifically created you?
Are you suggesting that if one of "the nonelect" had been as sinless, obedient, loving and knowing as God then they would have chosen eternal hell as a destiny for themselves ?

In my opinion, single predestination is the most illogical belief ever devised.

It's not nearly as complicated (and therby illogical) as http://livingfaithforum.com/forum/sh...ll=1#post42426 IMO
But then I guess you won't like these Colonel (though I think "Knuckle Head" is being a offensive - even if it's trying to say that no where in the Bible is anyone asked to choose salvation - the best there is is people asking what to do and then being told.)

Actually Paul said he was "not disobedient to the heavenly vision", suggesting that he could have been.

get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’
“So, King Agrippa, I did not prove disobedient to the heavenly vision, but kept declaring both to those of Damascus first, and also at Jerusalem and then throughout all the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds appropriate to repentance.
You sure about that?

All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God Colonel so no one could be as sinless, obedient, loving and knowing as God. Sorry, it's a non-question.
