Thread: What temperature do you set for your A/C?

  1. #1

What temperature do you set for your A/C?

I really prefer to keep doors and windows open as long as daytime temps stay under 80 and the humidity is low but we're having another heat wave so the A/C is back on and set to 76 tho sometimes I lower it a degree or two when I go to bed.

What about you, what temperature is the most comfortable for you and do you change it at night?

    Summer or Winter?

I generally set the A/C to 80 and keep the windows closed to block out the humid air.

68 F is about right, winter or summer, day or night. The air needs some humidity during the winter. In the summer the basement stays below 70 even during a weeklong heat wave.
