In the south, or at least GA, it's 'Coke'. "What do you want to drink?" "I'll have a Coke." "Is Pepsi OK?" :)

we picked this up from our Minnesota family.
Ya, you bet'cha!
we say it all the time now.. LOL.
I'm accused of being from the south because I use jargon that I got as a wee one from my family who imported it from Indiana and Illinois

But that is more of an east-coast gypsy word.

I learned worsh? (like wore with a sh) to make it sound right. Mom learned it from her mom so I followed. It is really wash, Washington...."Mom, it is not Worshington". I could not figure out "offda". I do not know how to spell it but I learned it when we spent 3 weeks in Red Wing MI one summer. I finally asked someone what it meant...."it means whatever, replaces a cuss word etc".

I have said "worsh" most of my life. That is one word I've tried to ditch in my more mature years. I may be able to do it, as I learned to say vacuum cleaner instead of sweeper.

It's hard to lose certain pronunciations. In the last few years I've been working really hard to say oil, rather than ol.
