Keep an eye out for my Mother-in-law....she's over in Tananger, Norway now. Look for the sweetest Scottish woman running around, and I'm sure that will be her.

That's just outside Stavanger, one of the two large cities on the West coast. Tell her to yell and I'll yell back.

i sense a mother in law joke coming....

I'm just trying to turn everyone in Stavanger deaf, that's all. That should teach those Westerners !

I'll send my son out looking for her. He lives in Stavanger.

Great idea. Tell him to look for an American who isn't in a car, that should narrow down the search enormously.

Come on. There are just a few people there. Not many live there. Should be easy to find.

She became an American citizen, but she's every inch a Scots-woman. (her accent is a Scottish brogue with US Southern inflections)

I will stay here in Oslo and shout from the mountain (over 600 feet! ). She should be able to hear my voice across the Hardanger plains. I will only shout if I hear her call first though, so she will have to muster what her Scottish blood will allow. Using a bagpipe might help.
