Do you have a good sense of direction?
I saw this meme and had to smile...a kindred spirit!
I'm good at a lot of things but I was sooo grateful when the GPS was invented.
How about you, are you one of those folk that have a compass built in your head or do you panic when you see 'detour ahead' or 'road closed, take alternative route'?

When I'm driving, I try to maintain a general understanding of the compass direction in which I'm traveling. And, when people ask me for directions, I do tend to refer to the compass direction; e.g., "go east on I10 for 2 miles, then north on I11 for 3 miles".
I generally set my GPS to provide the down-looking view of the road, because that allows me to keep track of my compass direction in unfamiliar territory.

Yes, I do. In fact, I love trying to find my way around new places.

It seems I actually do have a compass in my head. I've tried it all over the world and I always have a basic sense of north. There is a twist though. My sense of direction didn't work well the one time I visited Alaska. I suspect it is actually a sense of magnetism.
But I do use my GPS when I am traveling in places where I am not familiar with the roads. It's not that I won't go exploring in places I've never been. It's just that I like to find the fastest way back to base when I'm done. A few days ago I found myself on a road that I knew was going the right direction but when I checked the GPS it said I was driving down a mountain ravine that didn't have a road. The GPS was wrong and my natural sense of direction was right.

I use the waze app. Otherwise, I'd be lost all the time.
