I think they should let people fight over the seats so we can enjoy the entertainment

Depends. If it's someone unfamiliar with our church or maybe for visiting family, I have no problem with it. But if it's just for your best buddy, maybe sit somewhere else and get to know other people in your church. I HATE sitting in a big group at conferences but I have a fried who always goes early to save seats for everyone.

I save seats for hubby and I. I have a sensitivity to sounds and my church is loud! I sit on the end so I can escape if necessary.

No..I understand that families and friends want to sit together. It used to bug me at conferences but then I realized, if you have a group of 30 you don't need all 30 there 4 hours early...so no, while it used to, it does not anymore.

I do! Usually the entire front row on one of the sides. Mostly for family and others with toddlers, so they have space to play.

Meh, it doesn't bother me that people save seats for others in Church...

It does bother me when folks arrive late and expect to find a "prime" seat, and distract everyone else by walking up and down the aisles "seat hunting."

I don't have an issue with people saving seats but I do indeed have an issue with our own members taking the seats at the back and leaving it to those who come late or a new to walk all the way up to the front. It doesn't help to plead or beg ... they just sit where they want to sit.

We have people who come early just so they can have the back row seats.

AND people who come early so they can have front seats.

    What can ya do, eh?
