I know, just about everyone including myself puts that "s" on it. ;)
Thanks for posting this Catchy, I've been hearing that it may be coming to my area soon and have been meaning to learn more about. I found this article on their 'ClickList' service:
-Parents are raving about ClickList, Kroger's new online-grocery ordering service.
It allows customers to order and purchase from a selection of 40,000 groceries online and then pick them up at a Kroger.
Store employees will pack the items and load them into customers' cars at a designated time. It costs $4.95 for regular orders and $7.99 for expedited ones...

I'm kind of a freak about that!
I think I would definitely use it for non-perishables. Let them find and pack up all of those things, but like you there are things like produce and meats that I'd like to handpick myself. I have a wonderful fruit, meat, deli market nearby that I could go to for those things.

The Kroger here has been going through extensive remodeling. They will be adding a Ghiardelli chocolate counter.

So I got it right, then. I went through my post, and I found that I had posted "Kroger" all throughout until the end "Kroger", which had an "s". I kinda thought about it and convinced myself it had an s on the end, LOL...

They already sell Ghiardelli stuff at all the ones we shop at. Don't have a special counter for it though.
I love the dark chocolate caramel sea salts ones. :)

I doubt that I'll ever use it, although I hate grocery shopping, I like to touch, smell and examine my meat, dairy and produce.
I vaguely recall getting an email about them offering Pickup Service soon.
Hey Catchy, I shop at the Kroger on Midlothian near the *new* Martin's at Charter Colony - Is that where your son works?

Yep. If you ever see the redhead working in the Natural Foods, that's my son. He also splits some shifts with helping people find the stuff that's been moved all around during the renovation.

No, this isn't the bagged stuff....lol. I'm talking about the "case" with the fresh stuff (I think a chocolate fountain was mentioned but I am certain that will be behind the counter).

Ohhh, you know I'm gonna be on the lookout for him, and if I ever run into him, I'm gonna give him so much grief, he's gonna think he's on Candid Camera!!!
