How many languages can you speak?
Name the ones you're fluent in then mention the ones you can kinda get by in.
English is my language but I took some French in school and know a little Polish tho I'm pretty rusty in it.

English, Norwegian. Can speak mostly Swedish words, that can be handy when in Sweden. Had German in school, can read simple German. Taught myself some Spanish, enough for it to be usable but it needs freshening up.

I speak English (obviously) and Spanish. I had a lot of practice last week being security, cabin leader, and playing trumpet at a Spanish youth camp.

Norwegian, understand Swedish and especially Danish quite well, English (but as you very well know it's far from perfect), learned and loved German at school, never praticed much, the same with French and Spanish. I love to learn new languages and have taken courses in both swahili and chinese. I remember the first time I felt I had learned enough swahili to address the kids at a school in Tharaka, Kenya, where we have several aid projects going. They didn't understand one word since they talk their own tribe language, kitharaka. That's when I gave up on swahili which btw is a very simple language. I bet you all know Hakuna matata
