Do you have any secular Easter traditions?
Are they traditions that you still currently do? How about when you were a kid, anything special you used to do or get at Easter time?
Here's one of mine:

we do a blend.. some of the bunny/egg stuff, but the center of everything is the resurrection.

My parents would take us to the sunrise service if the church we were attending had one. I remember my sisters and i singing the crayonbox song at the service one year. It was really special for me in remembering what Easter was really about. In the afternoon my mom would hide our Easter baskets so we had fun looking for them and of course eating the candy lol so far we haven't done bug traditions with our kids. We go to church in the morning and they will get a small basket later. I definitely try to make sure they realize the real reason for the day.

We have some Polish friends who bring us one like this for Easter every year.

Do they bring some kielbasa too? Cause that's an Easter tradition too. ;)
When I was still in catholic elementary school the moms would stuff Easter baskets full of foods...bread, butter lambs, kielbasa, dyed eggs, etc...and we'd take them to church the Saturday before Easter for the priests to bless them.

Your two older kids are now at an age where they can participate in more activities. Do you plan on dying eggs with them?
