Ya know, maybe if you wrote 'I will always like John'...he might find that option to at least give you 48 hours to figure out if you want a post to stay or go poof. ;)

Well, you could write a paragraph describing the reason for deleting the post. There is no rule that you have to type "delete".

Now that I'm thinking about it, I think we also had a time limit on how long you could edit a post too, don't recall if it was a week or month tho. It was because a few years ago we had some members that had left come back and start 'deleting' all their old posts.
